The company racing car has been an ongoing project with several redesigns over the years. This has allowed Laman Designs to experiment on different design and fabrication techniques and use this project as a launching pad for several of our product and services. It is a great showcase of what we are capable of providing for our clients. Some of the details of the project are:

– 1984 Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE

– Quick-change rear differential
– 13.75″ x 1.25″ Brakes all around. 6 Piston calipers front, 4 pistons rear.
– Double a-arm suspension on all four corners complete with in-house CNC aluminum uprights
– APR GT-300 Wing; custom Laman Goose-neck mounting

– 1995 BP Block, 84.5 Wiseco pistons, Eagle H-Beam rods, ARP studs, lightened and balanced rotating

– 7.25″ dual disc Tilton clutch

– BorgWarner 8374 TwinScroll internal wastegated

– HP Electronik Power Distribution system modified by Laman for custom install
